The biggest mistakes affiliates make

If you are new to affiliate marketing. Some how you are eager to start off. Many new affiliate marketers simply jump into the business without properly researching it first and end up frustrated and angry that they aren’t making big time money within the first few days.

A real business from home that make you more then enough money to live on and you don’t even have to bother with products or shipping. Here are some common mistakes that affiliate marketers make :-

1) Too many programs at once
By doing this, it makes it very hard to provide top-level page design and content relating to all of these programs at once. You should only subscribe to two or three programs at once. This will allow you to give these programs your laser-like focus so you can turn them into money makers sooner rather than later. Patience is, again, very important. It may seem like the best way to go is to load up your site with two dozen affiliate marketing sites but there is little chance that will make you any money. If your site is focused, you’ll be in much better shape.

The vast majority of mistakes that new affiliate marketers make are ones out of inexperience. They want to make as much money as possible as quickly as possible. What they don’t realize is slow and steady wins the race. Dedication, hard work and focus are the best friends of affiliate marketers.

2) Patience
For even the best affiliate marketers, it takes time to build a customer base. The people that are legitimately making $10,000 a month in affiliate marketing spent years getting to that level, not days or even months. For some that are new to the trade, it seems like that level of success is an overnight thing, but it isn’t. Once you pick an affiliate program, after researching it ahead of time, of course, you need to stick with it. You should change your content on a regular basis, update your site weekly, add in some holiday-themed pages and make sure you stay up to date on product information from your parent company, but the most important thing to do is to simply stay the course. If you jump ship after a month, the chances of your affiliate marketing site taking off are slim to none.

I’d seen BidVertiser adv on various sites across the Internet. I hadn’t paid them too much attention until i read a review comparing adsense vs BidVertiser.

If you've got a website or a blog. You can earn money by placing an ad or Referral button on your site . You will get paid for every visitor that clicks on an ad or on your button and signs as an advertiser or a publisher.

When a user signs as a publisher and first earns $10, They'll credit your account with $10. When that same publisher earns $50, they will credit your account with an additional $40.







I love BidVertiser. I love it how you can pick what ads to reject and what to keep. My bog has ads that make me $0.37 per click, and i can removed all the Gambling and dating ads. And my friend's website has some ads that make him $0.57 per click. i think it's better than Google adsense or anything else that i've ever seen. I'd say it's 8/10 compared to Google Adsense.

Make Money Online with Ease

If you’re reading this, then I assume that you are one of those people who want to make a lot of money without ever having to put on a suit and tie and going to the office. That’s just fine with me because I too have dreamt of financial independence for some time and managed to achieve it by becoming a successful online marketer.

The most important thing that you need to know about affiliate marketing is: content rules”. It’s the first thing you need to keep in mind at all times. If you really want to be successful in this trade then you need to learn how to make your own

content and how to come up with quality stuff. Getting surfers to look at your website is not that hard. Making them read more than a couple of lines is a bit harder.

The second most important thing is to gain links that point to your site, which will bounce you up in search engine ratings.

Make sure the links are always from web pages that focus on the same topic as the articles they point to, otherwise you are going to lose points with the search engines and that should be avoided at all costs.

So there you have it, the big list of tasks that you need to do in order to become a successful affiliate marketer. Sounds too simple? Well, it sort of is simple, but not as simple as you’d expect. What you need to do is to write good articles that can

really answer the questions your readers have in mind. This means finding a topic, becoming thoroughly acquainted with it and analyzing possible solutions.

So go ahead, pick a niche market, identify some topics and start writing. Get about 10 articles up on your website, re-read one of the articles and see if your writing style is really crystal clear and if the ideas stand out from the text and are easy to grasp by anyone.

Marketing campaigns, flashing banners and slick ads are nice, but you don’t need them. Just write articles and get links. Then write more articles and get more links. Repeat this until your website becomes a mandatory stop for people who want to be well -informed on the topic you’ve chosen. The links and surfer clicks will give you good ratings and the original content will make you unique.

Write good articles, put in plenty of keywords (don’t use them blatantly), make sure the links to the merchant website stand out and get other websites to link to you. That’s all you need to know to make a lot of money on the internet.

Understanding Product Distribution


People have been distributing products since before the first mastodon skinner traded a fur coat for a flint axe. Here’s how it works.


Let’s say ABC Manufacturers makes a product called Mom’s Ankle Wax. We’ll say that Mom’s Ankle Wax has been around for years. It’s a very well known brand name product. It will without a doubt give you the shiniest ankles on your block, and everybody wants some.


ABC Manufacturers makes Mom’s Ankle Wax, but they don’t sell it directly to the public. They’re a manufacturing operation. They’re far too busy melting paraffin and waxing test ankles to go around building stores all over the place. They need distributors; companies who will take their product and distribute it to the places that will sell it. For years, ABC Manufacturers has sold Mom’s Ankle Wax to a company called DEF Distributors. The founder of DEF Distributors knew Mom herself, back in the old days when she made her Ankle Wax by hand, out in the turkey barn.


Today, DEF Distributors buys Mom’s Ankle Wax by the truckload. They pay $5.00 a case for it, which is a very good price. It’s such a good price, it has it’s own name: the Manufacturer’s Wholesale Price.


However, DEF Distributors does not sell it to the general public either. They are a distributor. They distribute Mom’s Ankle Wax.


DEF Distributors works with a chain of retail stores called Wax R Us. This place was founded by a retail business visionary who saw the incredible potential of Mom’s Ankle Wax a long time ago. Today there are Wax R Us retail stores on every street corner in every major city in the country. Wax R Us buys truckloads of Mom’s Ankle Wax from DEF Distributors for $10.00 a case.


So, DEF Distributors makes $5.00 on every case of Mom’s Ankle Wax they sell to Wax R Us retail stores. This makes DEF Distributors very happy.


Cases and cases of Mom’s Ankle Wax arrive in the stockrooms of Wax R Us stores everywhere. The Wax R Us employees open those cases, and pull 12 cans of Mom’s Ankle Wax out of each case. With their pricing guns, they stick a price of $4.50 on each and every can.


Wax R Us stores make a total of $44.00 on each case of Mom’s Ankle Wax. (12 cans x 4.50 per can = 54.00, minus the 10.00 they paid for the case = 44.00).


Wax R Us is even happier than DEF Distributors.


However, the happiest people of all are the people who can stroll into Wax R Us and purchase a can of Mom’s Ankle Wax for only $4.50. They think this is a great price, and they’re walking around with the shiniest ankles in town.


Well, that’s it…basic product distribution. The manufacturer sells to the distributor, the distributor sells to the retailer, and the retailer sells to the end user (the customer). The manufacturer, the distributor and the retailer all make money because the customer is willing to spend money for the product.


Drop Shipping has been around for a long time, too. Probably as long as mail order catalogs; maybe longer. If you want to use a buzzword to impress a corporate type, call it “second party addressing”.


Above, we talked about the manufacturer-distributor-retailer relationship. When you use drop shipping to sell products on the Internet, (or anywhere else), YOU become the RETAILER in that relationship.


It should be noted here, if only to keep the Punctuation Police happy, that if you use the method of drop shipping in your business, YOU are not the “drop shipper”. The company(s) who supply the products to your customers for you is the drop shipper. YOU become a “Stockless Retailer”.

How Drop Shipping Works
1.) You open an Internet Store, with a shopping cart and the ability to accept credit cards.


2.) You find a distributor who is willing to DROP SHIP the products you want to sell. The best place on the Internet for this is www.WorldwideBrands.com. This is our website, the home of OneSource, recognized as the best source for legitimate Wholesale Suppliers on the Internet.


3.) You establish an account as a retailer with the Drop Ship Wholesale Supplier.


4.) You receive images and descriptions of the products you want to sell from the Drop Shipper and post them on your Internet Store.


5.) A customer surfs into your Internet Store, and falls in love with a product that you have priced at, say, $80. They purchase the item with their credit card. Your Store charges their credit card $80 plus your shipping fee.


6.) You turn around and email the order to your Drop Shipper, along with the customer’s name and address.


7.) The Drop Shipper sends the product directly to your customer, with YOUR Store’s name on the package.


8.) The Drop Shipper charges you the wholesale price of, say, $45.00, plus shipping.


9.) Your customer gets a cool product from your store shipped to their door, and they tell all their friends about you, and you make even more money.


There you have it. You just made a $35.00 profit on one item. You didn’t have to buy a whole bunch of the product and keep it in your warehouse, hoping you would sell it. You didn’t have to pay to have it shipped to you, and then pay to ship it to your customer. All you did was send an email to your Drop Ship Wholesale Supplier.


That’s the drop shipping process in a nutshell!

Ok ... this is so nice and wonderful - working at home in pajamas. And with min effort, i am able to have money flowing into my bank account. Not a bad deal, working only a few hours a week from home, so I'd have more time to spend with my kids, and the best is without any boss looking over my shoulder.


But what you must realise is that 90% of money making schemes available on the internet are frauds, so be very careful. You've probably seen the advertisements all over such as these:

Don't be mistaken. The fact is that you CAN get paid to take surveys online. There are a few companies that are legitimate, but most people fall for the scams on the false programs.

3 Sources of Content All Affiliates Should Use...

As an affiliate, it's critical that you have a website, though this is usually not the hardest. The bigger challenge is that your website needs to get traffic! So, how do you get traffic?


There is absolutely no question that the best form oftraffic is search engine traffic. Search engines can deliver highly targeted traffic that is absolutely free.


The catch?


Well, how do you get search engines to give you traffic in the first place? How do you convince a robotic spider that your website deserves their attention?


One word: Content


Search engines have one primary goal: To serve their visitors with quality content targeted to what their visitor is looking for. A search engine is going to do anything in their power to rank websites based on what think is relevant.


So, in the end, your real job is to find a way to convince the search engines that your website is better suited for a topic than another website. In other words you need to better optimize your website for a given keyword that another website.


All in all this means that your website needs content and with each passing day the amount of content your website needs will be increasing. As more websites compete, the search engines are looking for more and more content on your website.


Search engines are giving more credibility, hence traffic,to larger websites with more updated content. They figure that if a website has lots of pages that are constantlyupdated, it is a more credible website. So, how does the little guy, an affiliate, compete and keep their website on the top?


3 Sources of Fast and Credible Content


1. Article Directories
Many argue that article directories are bad places to get articles from because of the “duplicate content” penalty that search engines may throw at you. However, what they do not realize is that search engines penalize duplicated PAGES, not content: there is a difference.


This means that search engines are looking for duplicate HTML rather than duplicate articles. Common sense dictates that certain articles and press releases may end up inmultiple places on the Internet. This has been happening since the beginning of the Internet.


However, if HTML is duplicated, then the search engines know that someone is trying to trick them.


Feel free to grab articles from directories, just make sure that you are plugging these articles into your own unique HTML files: create your own custom templates.


2. Blogs
Blogs have become extremely powerful lately, search engines are devouring them. Why? Well blogs are short for web log, an Internet based journal. Just the title automatically indicates that the blog will be consistently updated.


Blogs are also very clean and simple HTML with easy to follow navigation for search engines. If you have not yet,it is a wise decision to launch a blog on your own website.


3. Product Reviews/Information
Many affiliates who sell physical products or have websites that sell hundreds or thousands of websites argue that they cannot possibly write articles to promote all the products.


So, how do you have meaningful pages of “content” if yousell lots of products and writing articles is too difficult?


Write product reviews or copy/paste information on that product.
If you ever search for an electronic item in the search engines, you’ll find that the top ranking sites are not always articles but are typically just websites that sell that product. Some of them have reviews of the product and others just have copied and pasted information from the company.


So, a fast way to get content is to simply borrow technical specs and reviews on the product. But remember,put these into your own template (since it is repeated content).
